Appeal for New Group Secretary

Due to illness the current Secretary is reluctantly retiring from the Committee, therefore we are looking for a new Group Secretary. This is a vital post on the Committee. The IAMRoadsmart Group Handbook says that the Committee must have a minimum of three officers: Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer. NNAM must comply with this or we cannot continue as an IAM Group.

The retiring Secretary has done an excellent job, and everything is in order. She is willing to support the new Secretary in taking on the role.

Neil Spinks - “Cross Keys Bridge” - Wednesday 13th May

The only river crossing between Norfolk and Lincolnshire. There has been a bridge here since 1830. The current bridge was installed in 1897 and until 1965 was both rail and road. It continues to form a vital link for both shipping and road transport.

Neil retired aged 62 in 2023 having worked as a partner manager in the financial crime compliance industry for 17 years. Upon retirement, Neil set sail for 6 months in his 29ft sailboat to attempt a circumnavigation of Great Britain raising money and awareness for the RNLI & the British Heart Foundation.
